Welcome to Revierhavnens Baatforening, Norway’s oldest boat association, founded in 1853
We are located on the scenic island of Hovedøya, just a short 5-minute ferry ride from downtown Oslo (remember to check Ruter for the last departure to avoid getting stranded!). Hovedøya is a fantastic destination, offering both close proximity to the city’s vibrant life and a peaceful, secluded atmosphere.
The association operates on a volunteer-based system and therefore does not provide the same level of service as a commercial marina. We cannot guarantee that a harbor master will be present upon arrival, and we do not have a 24/7 service phone. It is only with a confirmed booking through Mooringo that you are allowed to dock in the harbor.
As a general rule, we do not offer electricity at guest spots, as electricity costs are charged directly to the member who owns the berth. However, we are exploring solutions for this, especially for international guests who plan to stay for several nights. Please contact styret@revierhavnen.no to find a solution.
There is also a great restaurant on-site. For more information, including opening hours, visit: https://www.revierhavnenkro.no/. If you are only visiting the restaurant, they have their own guest dock (which cannot be reserved).
Water is available at all berths, and there is a public septic pump-out station in the bay.
Night guards patrol the area and have the authority to evict guests who do not behave appropriately. Harbor fees will not be refunded if you are asked to leave.
